CAMILLE DUNGY

Camille T. Dungy is the author of Smith Blue (Southern Illinois University Press, 2011), Suck on the Marrow (Red Hen Press, 2010), and What to Eat, What to Drink, What to Leave for Poison (Red Hen Press, 2006). She edited Black Nature: Four Centuries of African American Nature Poetry (UGA Press, 2009) and coedited the poetry anthology From the Fishouse (Persea Books, 2009). Dungy is the recipient of an American Book Award from the Before Columbus Foundation (2011), two Northern California Book Awards (2010, 2011), a California Book Award Silver Medal (2011), and a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts (2003). Her poetry and essays have appeared in Poetry, VQR, Tupelo Quarterly, and The American Poetry Review. Dungy is a professor in the English department at Colorado State University.  end
