Todd Fredson is the author of the poetry collection, The Crucifix-Blocks (Tebot Bach, 2012), which won the 2011 Patricia Bibby First Book Award. He has translated two poetry collections by Josué Guébo: Think of Lampedusa (forthcoming from University of Nebraska Press, 2017), and My country, tonight (Action Books, 2016). His work has appeared in The American Poetry Review, Columbia Journal, The Volta, Warscapes, and elsewhere. He was a 2015-16 Fulbright Scholar in the Ivory Coast and is currently a PhD candidate in Creative Writing and Literature at the University of Southern California.
