Why I Love the Fiddle
Lisa Coffman has published two books of poetry, Less Obvious Gods (Iris Press, 2013) and Likely (The Kent State University Press, 1996). Her poems have been featured in The Writer’s Almanac and in journals and anthologies including The Southern Review, Beloit Poetry Journal, and Myrrh, Mothwing, Smoke: Erotic Poems (Tupelo Press, 2013). She has received fellowships and grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Pew Charitable Trusts, and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. She teaches at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
