Peter Kline’s first collection of poetry, Deviants, was published by Stephen F. Austin State University Press in 2013. His poetry has appeared in many journals including Ploughshares, Five Points, Poetry, Tin House, as well as the Best New Poets series, the Verse Daily website, and the 2015 Random House anthology, Measure for Measure. A former Wallace Stegner Fellow (2008–2010), he has also received residency fellowships from the Amy Clampitt House (2014), James Merrill House (2013), Marble House Project (2016), and Kimmel Harding Nelson Foundation (2013). Since 2012 he has directed the San Francisco literary reading series Bazaar Writers Salon. He teaches writing at the University of San Francisco and Stanford University.
