Lena Moses-Schmitt’s work has appeared in Best New Poets, Ninth Letter, Indiana Review, The Normal School, Cincinnati Review, Devil’s Lake, Foundry, Terrain.org, and elsewhere. She earned a BA in English from the University of Mary Washington and an MFA in poetry from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she also served as the lead associate editor of Blackbird. She lives in the Bay Area, where she works as a publicist at Counterpoint, Catapult, and Soft Skull Press.
