Raphael Dagold is the author of Bastard Heart (Silverfish Review Press, 2014), a finalist for the Utah Book Award in poetry. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Southern Review, Tupelo Quarterly, The Offing, and The Normal School. He is recipient of a Sewanee Writers’ Conference Tennessee Williams Scholarship and was a New Millennium Nonfiction Prize finalist. He has had residencies at the Jentel Foundation, the Vermont Studio Center, and Le Moulin à Nef in Auvillar, France. He has taught creative writing and literature at various institutions in the U.S. and abroad, and is now a member of the English faculty at The Morristown-Beard School in Morristown, New Jersey.
