Negar Emrani is the author of the book of poetry, Somewhere Between the World And the Mirror (Algum Lugar Entre o Mundo e o Espelho) (Paradise Ocean Books, 2019). War in the Birthplace (Paradise Ocean Books, 2020) by Seyed Morteza Hamidzadeh is one of her works as a translator. Her poetry has appeared on Asymptote, Blackbird, Chagrin River Review, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, TINGE Magazine, and The Literati Quarterly. After graduating with a master’s degree in biotechnology, she began to study poetry on her own. As a specialist in the English language and poetry, besides having her own poems, she has been translating some of others.
