Frances Boyle is the author of several poetry collections, including This White Nest (Quattro Books, 2019) and Light-carved Passages (BuschekBooks, 2014). She also published the short story collection, Seeking Shade (The Porcupine’s Quill, 2020), and the novella, Tower (Fish Gotta Swim Editions, 2018). Her work has appeared and is forthcoming in Best Canadian Poetry 2020, Prairie Fire, Minola Review, and Sheila-Na-Gig online. Her poem, “Wake,” won This Magazine’s Great Canadian Literary Hunt (2011), and her story, “Rest Cure,” placed third in the fiction category (2020). She is the recipient of multiple awards, including a Best of the Net nomination (2020) and Arc Poetry Magazine’s Diana Brebner Prize (2008). Boyle writes reviews for Arc Poetry Magazine and Canthius.
