Dong Li translated Zhu Zhu’s book The Wild Great Wall (Phoneme Media, 2018) from Chinese to English, and co-translated Zang Di’s book Gesellschaft für Flugversuche (Carl Hanser Verlag, 2019) with Lea Schneider from Chinese to German. His translations have received support from the PEN/Heim Translation Fund Grant, Ledig House Translation Lab, the Henry Luce Foundation Chinese Poetry in Translation Fellowship, Vermont Studio Center, and elsewhere. He works as a translator in Chinese, English, and German.
