Barbara Duffey is the author of two poetry collections, Simple Machines (The Word Works, 2016), winner of the 2015 Washington Prize, and I Might Be Mistaken (Word Poetry, 2015). Her work has appeared in The Cincinnati Review, Prairie Schooner, Western Humanities Review, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of a 2015 National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writing Fellowship in poetry. She is an associate professor of English at Dakota Wesleyan University.
