Victoria Chang's first book of poetry, Circle,
won the Crab Orchard Award Series in Poetry and will be published
by Southern Illinois University Press in April, 2005. Her poems
have appeared or are forthcoming in journals including The
Nation,
Poetry, Threepenny Review, The Kenyon Review, The
Virginia Quarterly Review, Slate, New England
Review, Michigan Quarterly Review, and
The North American Review. She edited the anthology Asian
American Poetry: The Next Generation (University of Illinois, 2004). She
holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Stanford and
is currently attending the MFA program at Warren Wilson College
on a Holden Minority Scholarship. She has received a scholarship
to the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference and a Taylor Fellowship
to The Kenyon Review Writers Workshop, as well as a Hopwood Award
from the University of Michigan. She resides in Los Angeles and
San Diego.
