James Hoch’s poems have appeared in Slate, The Kenyon Review, The Gettysburg Review, 32 poems, and Virginia Quarterly Review. His second poetry collection, Miscreants, appeared June, 2007 from W.W. Norton & Company. His first collection, A Parade of Hands, won the 2001 Gerald Cable Award and was published by Silverfish Review press in 2003. Originally from Collingswood, New Jersey, Hoch now lives in Nyack, New York. He teaches at Ramapo College of New Jersey.
