Sara Al Qatami is a student pursuing a BFA in graphic design in the class of 2012 at Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar. Her initial work on Gathering the Tide came under the auspices of an Undergraduate Research Experience Program grant awarded by the Qatar Foundation and the Qatar National Research Fund.
