Gregory Kimbrell received his BA in philosophy in 2004 from the College of Charleston, where in 2008 he participated in the Crazyhorse/Tupelo Press Publishing Institute at the College of Charleston. He received his MFA in creative writing, with a specialty in poetry, from Virginia Commonwealth University, where he served as the 2010–2011 Levis Fellow for the coordination of the conference Larry Levis: A Celebration and the 14th annual Levis Reading Prize contest. He is the membership and events coordinator for VCU Libraries. His reviews have appeared previously in Blackbird. ![]()
