Triangles, Imogen Cunningham, 1928
Light pooled. The girl, poured. Cream.
A candle, resonating. Her body
closed around her. The unclaimed space
at her center. The pealing ring from there.
It’s all right being locked in if it’s a garden
and the magnolia blooms.
Light pooled. Poured. Pealing.
Later, when I was free, I did other things.
