T.R. Hummer’s poetry publications include Eon (forthcoming, 2018), Skandalon (2014), Ephemeron (2012), and The Infinity Sessions (2005), all from Louisiana State University Press. He has also published works of critical essays, Available Surfaces: Essays on Poesis (University of Michigan Press, 2012) and The Muse in the Machine: Essays on Poetry and the Anatomy of the Body Politic (University of Georgia Press, 2006). Hummer has received two Pushcart Prizes and fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. He has taught at various academic institutions, including the University of Georgia, Virginia Commonwealth University, Kenyon College, and Middlebury College. He is a professor of English at Arizona State University.
