Robert Krut is the author of two collections of poetry, This Is the Ocean (Bona Fide Books, 2013) and The Spider Sermons (BlazeVOX Books, 2009). This Is the Ocean won the Melissa Lantis Poetry Prize in 2012. His poetry has appeared in Passages North, Packingtown Review, and Cimarron Review, among others. Krut earned his MFA in creative writing from Arizona State University. He teaches in the Writing Program and College of Creative Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
