Elvira Basevich’s poems have appeared in The Feminist Wire, Word Riot, CONSTRUCTION, and Inertia. She studied at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, where she was awarded a PhD in philosophy in 2017. Basevich is an assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Michigan–Dearborn.
