David Huddle’s poetry collection Glory River is forthcoming from Louisiana State University Press in Spring 2008.  His most recent poetry collections, also from LSU, include Grayscale (2004) and Summer Lake: New and Selected Poems (1999).  He is the author of two novels, Story of a Million Years (2000) and La Tour Dreams of the Wolf Girl (2003), both from Mariner Books.  A native of Ivanhoe, Virginia, he has taught at the University of Vermont and the Bread Loaf School of English for many years.
