Donald Morrill is the author of two volumes of poetry, With Your Back to Half the Day (Anhinga Press, 2005) and At the Bottom of the Sky (Mid-List Press, 1998), and four books of nonfiction: Impetuous Sleeper (Mid-List Press, 2009); The Untouched Minutes (University of Nebraska Press, 2004) which received the River Teeth Literary Nonfiction Prize; Sounding for Cool (Michigan State University Press, 2002); and A Stranger’s Neighborhood (Duquesne University Press, 1998). He was a Fulbright Lecturer at the University of Lodz, Poland, as well as the Bedell Visiting Writer in the nonfiction program at the University of Iowa. For many years he directed the Writers at the University series at the University of Tampa, where he also acted as poetry editor of the Tampa Review and director of the University of Tampa poetry series. Morrill teaches in the low-residency MFA creative writing program at Antioch University–Los Angeles and is associate dean of graduate and continuing studies at the University of Tampa.
