Lauren Goodwin Slaughter's poems have appeared in The Chariton Review, Hayden's Ferry Review, Hunger Mountain, The Kenyon Review Online, Salt Hill and Verse Daily. She is a fiction editor at DIAGRAM and an editor at poemmemoirstory. She is also an assistant professor of English at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
