Melissa Barrett’s poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Narrative, Anti-, Beloit Poetry Journal, Gulf Coast, The Kenyon Review Online, and Web Conjunctions. She is the 2012 recipient of an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award for Poetry and a Tin House Writer’s Workshop poetry scholarship.
