Shane Seely is the author of a book of poems, The Snowbound House (Anhinga Press, 2009), which received the 2008 Philip Levine Prize for Poetry, and a chapbook, History Here Requires Balboa (Slash Pine Press, 2012). His poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in The Southern Review, Antioch Review, and Hayden’s Ferry Review, among others. He teaches in the MFA program at University of Missouri–St. Louis.
