Jesse Lee Kercheval is the author of thirteen books of fiction, memoir and poetry including Cinema Muto (Southern Illinois University Press, 2009), winner of the Crab Orchard Open Selection Award, and The Alice Stories (University of Nebraska Press, 2007), winner of the Prairie Schooner Fiction Book Prize as well as the editor of América Invertida: An Anthology of Younger Uruguayan Poets which is forthcoming from the University of New Mexico Press.
