Ranjana Varghese’s work appears or is forthcoming in Gulf Coast, The Louisville Review, the Missouri Review, The Southeast Review, and elsewhere. She is the creative nonfiction editor of Oyster River Pages, an online literary and arts journal. She holds a PhD in literature and creative writing from the University of Houston. She is a professor of literature, creative writing, and humanities in Houston.
