Aaron Baker is the author of Posthumous Noon (Gunpowder Press, 2018), which won the 2017 Barry Spacks Poetry Prize, and Mission Work (Houghton Mifflin, 2008), which won the Katherine Bakeless Prize in Poetry and the Shenandoah Glasgow Prize for Emerging Writers. His work has appeared in the Missouri Review, New England Review, Poetry Northwest, and elsewhere. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Wallace Stegner Fellowship in Poetry (2001–2003), and fellowships from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference and the Sewanee Writers’ Conference. Baker is an associate professor in the creative writing program at Loyola University Chicago.
