Emily Franklin is the author of the poetry collection, Tell Me How You Got Here (Terrapin Books, 2021), the novel, Liner Notes (Open Road Media, 2013), the short story collection, The Girls’ Almanac (William Morrow, 2006), and sixteen books for young adults. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in The New York Times, The Boston Globe, The Cincinnati Review, Guernica, New Ohio Review, and elsewhere. She has been featured and read aloud on National Public Radio and was named notable by the Association of Jewish Libraries. Her poem, “The Math of Cows,” won the 2021 Pinch Literary Award in poetry.
