Margaret Mackinnon is the author of Afternoon in Cartago (Ashland Poetry Press, 2022), winner of the Richard Snyder Memorial Publication Prize, and The Invented Child (Silverfish Review Press, 2013), winner of the Gerald Cable Book Award and the Literary Award in Poetry from the Library of Virginia. Her work has appeared in Blackbird, Image, Hampden-Sydney Poetry Review, and Alaska Quarterly Review. She lives in Richmond, Virginia, where she is studying for an M.Div. degree.
