Jenny Irish is the author of the poetry collection Common Ancestor (forthcoming from Black Lawrence Press, 2017). Her work has appeared in Barrow Street, Colorado Review, Epoch, and Ninth Letter. She lives in Tempe, Arizona, where she is grateful to serve as the Assistant Director of the Creative Writing Program at Arizona State University.
