William Logan is the author of ten books of poetry, including his latest collections from Penguin: Rift of Light (forthcoming, 2017), Madame X (2012), Strange Flesh (2008) and The Whispering Gallery (2005). His book of criticism, Guilty Knowledge, Guilty Pleasure: The Dirty Art of Poetry, was published by Columbia University Press in 2014. He received the Aiken Taylor Award in Modern American Poetry in 2013. He teaches at the University of Florida, where he is an Alumni Professor and Distinguished Teaching Scholar.
