Julie Funderburk’s poems appear or are forthcoming in Ploughshares, 32 Poems, The Cincinnati Review, Smartish Pace, roger: an art & literary magazine, and the anthology Best New Poets 2005 (Samovar). A graduate of the MFA writing program at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, she serves as poetry editor of storySouth. In 2006, she received a scholarship from The Sewanee Writers’ Conference. Funderburk lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she teaches at Queens University of Charlotte.
