Greg Alan Brownderville is the author of Gust: Poems (TriQuarterly Books/Northwestern University Press, 2011) and Deep Down in the Delta: Folktales and Poems (Butler Center Books, 2012). His poetry has appeared in Prairie Schooner, the Oxford American, the Southwest Review, and elsewhere. He has received the 2012 Walter E. Dakin Fellowship in poetry from the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, first place in The Missouri Review’s 2011 Audio Competition in poetry, and the 2010 Jane Geske Award from Prairie Schooner. He is an associate professor in the creative writing program at Southern Methodist University. He earned an MFA from the University of Mississippi.
