Molly McCully Brown is the author of the poetry collection The Virginia State Colony for Epileptics and Feebleminded (Persea Books, 2017), winner of the 2016 Lexi Rudnitsky First Book Prize. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Crazyhorse, The New York Times, Pleiades,and Tin House. She is the recipient of a 2018 United States Artists Fellowship and is the 2017–2018 Jeff Baskin Writers Fellow at The Oxford American.
