Rob Shapiro’s work has appeared or is forthcoming in Michigan Quarterly Review, Pleiades, Prairie Schooner, River Styx, and The Southern Review. Shapiro earned his MFA from the University of Virginia, where he was awarded the Academy of American Poets Prize.
