Sam Pereira is the author of six collections of poetry: Bad Angels (Nine Mile Press, 2015), Dusting on Sunday (Tebot Bach, 2012), The Marriage of the Portuguese: Expanded Edition (Tagus Press, 2012), A Café in Boca (Tebot Bach, 2007), Brittle Water (Penumbra Press, 1987), and The Marriage of the Portuguese (L’Epervier Press, 1978). He has taught middle school English for the past twenty years.
