Brandon Courtney is the author of four collections of poetry: Body Bag (YesYes Books, 2019); Inadequate Grave (YesYes Books, 2016), winner of the Eric Hoffer Book Award; Rooms for Rent in the Burning City (Spark Wheel Press, 2015); and The Grief Muscles (The Sheep Meadow Press, 2014). His work has appeared or is forthcoming in Boston Review, Guernica, The Progressive, and Tin House, among others. He teaches poetry with Bard College’s Bard Prison Initiative.
