M.C. Allan’s poetry and fiction have appeared in Potomac Review, Iron Horse Literary Review, Tar River Poetry, Delaware Poetry Review, The Virginia Quarterly Review, and other journals. She edits and writes for Animal Sheltering, an award-winning animal protection magazine published by The Humane Society of the United States. Allan holds a graduate degree in creative writing from Hollins University and lives in Takoma Park, Maryland.
