Terri Witek is the author of several books of poetry, including The Shipwreck Dress (Orchises Press, 2008), Carnal World (Story Line Press, 2006), and Fools and Crows (Orchises Press, 2003). Her chapbook, Courting Couples, (Center for Book Arts, 2000), won the Center for Book Arts chapbook competition in the year of its publication. In addition to poetry, Witek has also published a critical volume, Robert Lowell and Life Studies: Revising the Self (University of Missouri Press, 1993). A native of northern Ohio, she teaches English at Stetson University, where she holds the Art and Melissa Sullivan Chair in Creative Writing.
