Henry Hart’s most recent book of poetry is Background Radiation (Salt Publishing, 2007). He is editor of The Wadsworth Anthology of American Literature, 1945–Present (Thomson, 2008). His biography James Dickey: The World as a Lie (St. Martin’s Press/Picador, 2000) was runner-up for a Southern Book Critics Circle Award.
