Joe Wilkins’s work has been published in The Georgia Review, The Missouri Review, The Southern Review, Boulevard, Pleiades, and Slate. He is the winner of the 2008 Ellen Meloy Desert Writers Award for his proposal to travel, observe, and write about the High Plains along the eastern front of the Rocky Mountains.
