Lesley Jenike received her MFA at The Ohio State University in 2003 and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Cincinnati. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Alaska Quarterly Review, Crab Orchard Review, Sou’wester, Sonora Review, Words on Walls, and other magazines. She is currently working on a collection of poems called American Songbook, of which “Kismet” is a part.
